I remember as a teenager I thought it would be amazing to understand how vitamins and minerals really work in the body. I would think about how thrilling it would be to help people cure illness and create health and vitality with food and nutrition. At the time, I had never heard of a Registered Dietitian or functional nutrition. Fast forward to present day and I am actually living that dream!

When I learned about becoming a Registered Dietitian, I knew I had found my purpose. After completing my undergraduate training, dietetic internship, and master of science degree, I started my career treating women with eating disorders. I soon took the skills I developed to outpatient counseling at a hospital. While there, I dove into diabetes care and management and began learning about functional nutrition. I helped develop and implement a lifestyle-nutrition improvement program for members of our community. People saw results and I wanted to do more.

A move took me away from the hospital outpatient clinic and I saw my chance to open a private practice where I help people reduce symptoms, prevent disease, and create health and vitality using food and nutrition. Using functional nutrition testing and personalized nutrition protocols, I am changing lives and living the dream I had in my youth. I can’t wait to see what comes next!

Along with seeing clients, I also enjoy writing blog posts and volunteering with the Association of Diabetes Care and Educations Specialists-Oregon State Coordinating Body. Additionally, I am a wife, mother, foodie, hobby photographer, and waterfall hunter. I live in the beautiful state of Oregon and provide services virtually.
